About The Streams

I livestream a wide variety of things, from IRL to music to gaming. It's really fun to be recording and have a live chat influence what I am doing. I also like livestreams in general, so that's why I do them, myself, as part of the content creation process. I also built many streaming tools on top of StreamElements to get the stream experience I want, including music players, overlays and a punishment wheel.

Where to Watch

I multi stream to different platforms at the same time. It's more about offering the preferred platform over trying to get more exposure. Each platform has its advantages and disadvantages for everyone, trying to make it accessible for everyone. Also, Twitch loves to disable the resolution picker at peal streaming times, so this really helps mobile viewers because YouTube doesn't do that.

The streams I do:

I do a variety of streams, so I try to put a little indicator in my title so you can know what I am up to.

IRL Streams: Lawn cutting, yard work, thrift store / garage sales, travels. If I am ever doing something interesting, I IRL stream it.

PC/Gaming Streams: Gaming, music, editing streams mostly.

The stuff I use:

I use a wide range of equipment to put together my streams. A lot of it is a confusing, engineering nightmare that would take too long to explain in detail.

IRL Streams:

I have a backpack full of technology to help me do stream in real life with a quality that doesn't look terrible. It was expensive to setup, but worth it.

PC Streams:

I use three machines when I am streaming. My main PC to play the game, Mac Mini to handle video/media playing and laptop to stream. I use a bunch of audio gear to connect everything together.

  • Main PC: AMD Ryzen 7 7800X3D with 32GB DDR5-6000 RAM and NVIDIA GeForce RTX 5070 Ti.
  • Mac Mini: M2 with 16GB RAM.
  • Laptop: Intel Core i7-12650H with 64GB DDR4-4800 RAM and NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3070 Mobile.

Before going into the audio gear, let me preface this with the fact that I have acquired this stuff over the last decade and a lot of it was purchased used or second hand. Brand new, this would have been a lot.

  • Main PC Audio Interface: 2x Focusrite Scarlett 18i20 2nd Gen, both connected in ADAT. Used to map virtual output devices in windows to physical outputs.
  • Microphones: Neumann TLM-103 and Shure SM-7B connected to a Soyuz Launcher.
  • Microphone Preamp: Both microphones are connected to the Apollo Solo USB. Yes, this is an interface but I only use it as a programmable preamp. I use various UAD plugins to clean up the audio from the microphones for the streams, including C-Suite C-Vox Noise & Ambience Reduction and Harrison 32C SE Channel EQ.
  • Mixing Board + Laptop Audio: A broken PreSonus StudioLive AR12c Mixer that also doubles as an interface so I can multi-track record. Once the audio is mixed, it is sent through a DBX 166XL to level out the sound. There is also a very old Focusrite Scarlett 8i6 (2011) just to get the mix audio back and send laptop audio to the mixing board.
  • There are other small things as well going on. Like how I have a MinFuse 1 hooked up to the aux send on the mixing board for discord calls, a random samson wireless microphone for some reason, AT2035 pair for room mics, AT2020 as a backup microphone... there's a lot. I think the streams sound good (when the broken mixing board works).

I don't need a lot of this, a lot of this stuff I have accumulated over the last decade of making content. Since I have it, might as well use it. :AkkoShrug:

Punishmet Wheel

On my streams, I have this thing called the "punishment wheel". Where in exchange for $10, 1000 bits (Twitch Only), or 880 Channel Points (Twitch Only), you can spin a wheel that appears on screen. The results on the wheel vary from punishments to me or punishments to the viewer. Now, because I was the one who built the code for the wheel and the API behind it, this is what the wheel is currently set to; the results and its chance the wheel lands on it. Like, this is where I set the wheel, any changes I make will appear here LIVE.

Chatter BANNED Chatter who spun the wheel gets banned from the stream (for 24 hours). Chance: 1/26 (3.85%)
Chatter Free Sub Chatter who spun the wheel gets a gift sub for 1 month from me. Chance: 1/26 (3.85%)
Extend Stream I have to extend the stream an extra 30 minutes, if I like it or not. Chance: 1/26 (3.85%)
End Stream I will end the stream, goodbye. Chance: 1/26 (3.85%)
Random YouTube Video I watch a random YouTube video. Chance: 2/26 (7.69%)
Call In Viewer gets to call in for a bit on Discord. Chance: 2/26 (7.69%)
Random Game I stop what I am doing and play a random short online game. Chance: 2/26 (7.69%)
Random Streamer Raid I watch a random livestream on Twitch and react for a few minutes. Chance: 2/26 (7.69%)
Ad Break I run an adbreak on stream and go to BRB (3 minute adbreak). Chance: 2/26 (7.69%)
Free Song Request Chatter gets to provide a youtube link in chat to be added to the song queue for free. Chance: 3/26 (11.54%)
Eye Test I have to stop what I am doing and do an eye test from google images. Chance: 3/26 (11.54%)

Support Me

You can subscribe to me on Twitch, a monthly subscription. And in return, you get some cool perks for the livestream. Subscriptions and resubscriptions have alerts, and each alert can have a message paired with it that will be read aloud with text-to-speech.

  • Ad-free stream viewing (the best perk).
  • Cool Emotes that you can use in the chat and in other streamer's chats.
  • Add to the media request / music queue without tipping (only have 1 song in a queue from you at a time).
  • Access to the AI in the chat; ask it questions to make it insult other chatters. !ask {Question}
  • Discord server role with sub-only text chats and voice channels.
  • Coming soon: Minecraft Survival-Economy server. Land claims, player warps, player shops. The year is 2013 and you're playing on a small Survival Minecraft server (but it's the latest version). Must be in the discord in order to get the IP and username whitelisted. Once whitelisted, you're in the Minecarft server forever / Minecraft role in discord.

Also on Twitch are bits, their own currency I get a cut from.
Spend 200 bits or more for your message to be read aloud with text-to-speech.

Finally, there is a tipping page, where you can judt directly support me and I get the full amount.
For at least $2, your message will be read aloud with text-to-speech.
For at least $3, you can attach a YouTube link to your message to add to the song queue.
For $10, you can spin the punishment wheel.
